Local commitment.

Lasting partnerships.

Upper Columbia Resource Conservation and Development Council is a locally led nonprofit helping northeastern Washington move forward, together.

OUR MISSION

A stronger region,

together.

UCRCD improves and enhances the social, economic, and environmental conditions of northeastern Washington by making community-led projects possible.

WHY WE EXIST

Some problems don’t have an owner.

When a local idea crosses county lines or brings several groups together, it may need a shared home.

UCRCD connects people, planning, funding, and practical support so community-led work can move forward.

OUR STORY

Built for local solutions.

1962

A national idea

1993

UCRCD takes root

Established in August 1993 to serve six counties in Northeast Washington.

2011

Dedicated federal RC&D funding ends; UCRCD adapts through local partnerships and fiscal sponsorship.

A new chapter
